Our Independence
PetInsuranceGuide is editorially independent. We are not owned, operated, or funded by any pet insurance company. Our comparisons, ratings, and recommendations are based exclusively on our published methodology.
We do not accept payment for placement in our comparison tables. We do not accept free policies, gifts, or incentives from insurance providers in exchange for favorable coverage. Every provider is evaluated using the same 5-factor scoring system.
How We Select Providers
We include providers based on market presence in Australia. Our initial list came from providers licensed by APRA and listed on Canstar. We periodically review the market for new entrants and add them when they reach meaningful market share.
We do not remove providers at their request. If a provider asks to be excluded, we note this in our comparison with an explanation. We believe readers deserve complete information.
Data Accuracy and Corrections
Our data comes from publicly available Product Disclosure Statements (PDS), provider websites, and regulatory filings. We refresh pricing and coverage data every 30 days.
If you find an error, email us and we will verify and correct it within 48 hours. We log all corrections at the bottom of the affected page with the date and nature of the change.
How We Make Money
PetInsuranceGuide earns revenue through affiliate commissions. When you click a link to a provider and purchase a policy, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. We also display Google AdSense advertisements.
