How We Make Money

PetInsuranceGuide is reader-supported. When you click on some links on this website and purchase a pet insurance policy, we may earn a commission from the provider. This comes at no extra cost to you.

We currently have, or are pursuing, affiliate relationships with the following Australian pet insurance providers and comparison platforms:

Does This Affect Our Rankings?

No. Our ratings, rankings, and recommendations are determined exclusively by our 5-factor scoring methodology. A provider's affiliate status has zero influence on where they appear in our comparison tables. We rate providers we don't earn from, and we criticise providers we do earn from when the data calls for it.

Why Affiliate Links?

Running this site costs money: hosting, research tools, data subscriptions, and the hundreds of hours spent reading Product Disclosure Statements. Affiliate commissions allow us to keep the site free for readers and independent from provider sponsorship.

We never accept payment for placement. We never accept free policies in exchange for positive reviews. Every recommendation is based on our published methodology, period.

How to Identify Affiliate Links

Affiliate links on this site are tagged with rel="sponsored" in the HTML. When you hover over an affiliate link, you may see a tracking parameter in the URL. These parameters tell the provider that you came from PetInsuranceGuide but do not identify you personally.

You are never obligated to use our links. If you prefer to go directly to a provider's website, that is completely fine. We hope the information on this site is useful regardless.
